Jill Salen Stays -mid 18th Century
These Stays were taken from the pattern supplied in Jill salen’s book ‘Corset’.
Much went wrong in our trying of this one – the motive? Practise again the compact boning and the inner front cone work but these stays turned all floppy on us again.
The binding also was tried in a different method and this too didn’t work quite as well but, again, we learnt from our mistakes!
