Delivery

Expected Delivery Times:

-Our aim, once you’ve sent us your measurements is to have your garment with you within 5 -6 weeks! This is just an aim date though and not a contract. If it is a particularly busy period then we will give you a more realistic E.T.A and the option to cancel your order.

There are also a few other exceptions to this. The 5 – 6 week estimation time starts from the moment we receive your measurements and are set with all the information we need to start your garment. We will then send you an email confirming the receipt of your measurements and the good news that your garment is about to be started. Another exception to the 5 – 6 week rule, from our side of things, is if you have opted for a fitting. Obviously, the time it takes to post the garment, the arrangement of a fitting time via Skype and then getting it back in the post to us, is all time that we cannot physically be working on your garment. But we promise that we crack back into action the moment we receive the garment back and the 5 week estimation time is ‘un-paused’, so to speak.

-If we are unable to deliver the garment within the five weeks we will let you know as soon as possible, hopefully from the outset of you ordering your item. If it is a busy period we will be able to offer you another date that we hope to get the garment out by. The idea is that we organise an estimated delivery time with you right at the beginning, to make sure you know how long your garment will be.

Delivery Costs

– If the total cost of the order is more than £200 then the only wise thing, for both parties, is to arrange for a ‘signed for’ delivery. This is more expensive than standard post – (especially to other countries, but we can think of no way round this). It is additional safety for you too. And we don’t just parcel the cost out to the customer but split it evenly between both parties. We hope you understand this and find it the right thing to do too.

– Also, we’re not quite sure where to mention this, and we will certainly mention it in the emails when corresponding, but the hooped petticoats are an awkward garment to post. The canes are steamed into shape in their casings and therefore not good to be removed and squished out of shape during a delivery: what kind of petticoat would you have then! This large package also bulks the postage up but, again, what can we do but apologise.
