Description
Pamela
By Samuel Richardson
“I cannot be patient, I cannot be passive when my virtue is in danger”
Another wonderfully thought out novel – not a smooth road to love at all – but this novel reads and tells far more about 18th century ideas than a simple love story. From Mr B’s descriptive speech about how he expects his wife, to the neighbours careless attitude to a young maid entrapped by her master – much in here is interesting, eye opening and worthy of the read.
